Wow, 7598 likes in less than 18 hours. That's amazing and just goes to show the need out there! Just an FYI about the group as we operate a number of different ways;
4. We are not buying hay up personally to resell. The whole point of this group is to source affordable hay and make it available to those in need, hence the cooperative idea as we may need to purchase large volumes to be able to compete with the export buyers and brokers to make it affordable for those of us who need it to feed our animals and stay in the livestock businesses we are in. The reports we've been receiving are consistently proving that there is good hay out there at decent prices and there's no need to panic yet. However, if there is really a widespread shortage, we will be strong in numbers and with buying power, we can get the hay where it really needs to go and source it from further away with shared trucking costs.
Banding together and helping each other out in tough times helps everyone survive and helps put an end to the 'rich growing richer while we have to give our stock away' mentality.
ALL questions, ideas, concerns, are welcome. Thank you.

- When we have a line on advertised hay, we will post to see who is interested in that particular hay and from what area, then we will coordinate a list of truckers willing to haul and their rates. Then, the buyers that are in a similar area who want that particular hay can arrange to share shipping amongst themselves, as well as a drop spot.
- Membership dollars allow us to volume buy and transport large volumes of hay at reasonable prices from large, reputable growers and then arranging trucking to areas as in our first format above, or individually if someone needs large amounts their own selves. This is a cooperative to be able to volume buy and keep costs down, a group effort so that everyone can afford to feed their stock this year. Those interested in putting money up front to join the cooperative and source their hay that way can PM me and details will be sent out.
